Flávio Nakasato
/ Co-founder at Moiru
This year, Moiru, the environmental arm of Novelo Data, had the honor of supporting AmazôniaHack, with mentoring and judging. This is a special hackathon for many reasons, but mainly because it connects people from different backgrounds with organizations working in the heart of the forest. At Moiru we see how technological innovations and fieldwork often run parallel to each other. It doesn’t have to be this way: that’s why events like this are so valuable.
